First, if you are interested in receiving a package, make sure you are tagged "consupotluck_recipient." When you receive a package, remove this tag.

When you receive a package, it should contain a handmade or found object along with one or more postcards. Here are the steps for you to take:

1. Create or find something to send along.
2. Buy or create a postcard, preferably one that represents your local area. Address this postcard to the person to whom you will send your potluck contribution. Mention who you are, what you are sending, and the date.
3. Enclose your postcard, your potluck contribution, and all the postcards that came in the package you received, in a package.
4. Mail or deliver the package to the next person.

• Judge what you send or receive based on the amount of effort and creativity it took to make, not on its market value
• Perishible items are not the best choices
